Insect annihilating is back as D3 Publisher is about to release the newest game in it's third-person shooter series Earth Defense Force. And it looks to be the best one yet!
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon will be out on July 5, releasing 4 years after the last entry of the series, Earth Defense Force 2017. And based on how much fun I had with the last game, this is one I am very much looking forward to.
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is a third-person, arcade style shooter. The game will feature improved graphics, however, it will keep the old arcade feel the series is known for. With numerous missions set in the city of New Detroit, you'll battle your way killing thousands of insect and robot enemies, as well as acquiring over 300 weapons through a new purchase system.
New features will include 4 different classes to choose from, vehicles that can be manned by multiple players, 3-player splitscreen & online co-op, and a 6-player Survival mode!
Look for the game on Tuesday, available for PS3 and 360.
