By far one of THE BEST games on the Gamecube (and a launch title at that!), Luigi's Mansion is easily one of the most memorable titles in Nintendo's history. For those of you who don't know, the original Luigi's Mansion had you in the shoes of the other Mario brother exploring a haunted mansion searching for Mario while playing "Ghost Buster" and sucking up Boos and everything else in the way with your trusty vacuum on steroids. I just remember being so blown away by how much attention Nintendo put into setting the atmosphere of the mansion. Hearing Luigi nervously hum to himself as he walks down the halls was, and still is, one of the most memorable moments in gaming. The first time I heard it, I could just feels his shivers running through me. The game play itself was easy to pick up and hard to put down. If you haven't already played it, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy at your local game shop.
Other than it's announcement, not much else is known about LM2. At the moment, the only details are that it will feature several different mansions to explore. That feature alone is more than enough to be excited about. The original only had one mansion, so this is definitely good news. Neal did have the chance to play LM2 at E3 this year. Expect an update with Neal's impression soon.
