Nearly 13 years ago, Nintendo graced us with the first 3D Zelda game. Since, it has been highly praised as one of the greatest games ever, and by countless others as the #1 best game ever. Hell, even by Gamerankings.com, it is the best.
Now with the release of their newest handheld, Nintendo has updated this masterpiece and released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Can Nintendo improve on one of the few games that is nearly perfect in every way? Yes. Yes they can.
I've been highly addicted to this title since it's release. I'm in the Shadow Temple now, and I must say, this game is not only reminding me of so many memories, but it is also still refreshing to play. The game holds up really well for being 13 years old. You can't say that for most. However, it is partially because of a fresh new coat of paint. With new, updated graphics, improved controls, and a less frustrating menu, Zelda: OoT is even better to play now. My full review will go more into the new features, but to kind of give you an idea, there are now 4 item slots and the entire menu is on the touch screen, saving you lots of time with having to pause and flip through screens. The graphics have been updated very nicely, but still give you that sweet Nintendo 64 feel.
